Alex joined the firm in 2017 based on a desire to take an active role in supporting and backing emerging technology companies pushing the boundaries of what is possible. Alex leads the team’s efforts in capital formation, working with our limited partners as well as with our companies.

Previously, Alex worked at Mercury Capital (now Investcorp) in New York, where he focused on advisory mandates for private equity and venture capital funds. Alex started his career in derivatives trading.

Alex earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Yale University, where he was awarded the DeForest Prize and Townsend Premiums, as well as the John Chester Adam Cup for scholarship, character, and loyalty. Alex was also selected as Class Speaker during graduation ceremonies, where he shared the stage with then-Vice President of the United States Joe Biden.

Alex is an Associate Resident of The Explorers Club in New York City, and has held leadership roles within the New York chapter of the Emerging Venture Capitalists Association, a non-profit organization. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Yale Alumni Fund.
